About David McCarthy, P.C.

At the law firm of David McCarthy, P.C., you work directly with an experienced lawyer who understands you and your legal situation. As your attorney I focus on your case and your needs. You will not be handed off to someone else, or have to get through several people before you can talk to me. I meet with you and take the time to get to know you and your goals. I work with you every step of the way to move toward the resolution of your issue and the outcome that you want to reach. From the time of your initial call and free consultation, I act quickly and effectively to professionally resolve your case.

Walk softly and carry a big stick.

My casual office belies my ability to aggressively represent your rights in court when needed. Your interests are of my utmost concern, and I am always well-prepared and ready to get the job done for you.

Personal Attention To Your Case

As the only lawyer at my firm, I will personally handle your case and see it through from beginning to end. With more than 10 years of experience as a Wyoming attorney, I have a unique understanding of the struggles you may face when dealing with legal issues such as disputes regarding oil and gas rights, family disagreements, personal injury claims and matters of criminal defense.

As your attorney, my primary focus is on you and your case.

Born And Raised In Wyoming

After several years working at a large firm, I founded my own practice in Laramie in 2008. This has allowed me to focus on the kinds of cases about which I am passionate. As your attorney I will maintain a high level of communication with you. As a smaller firm I am able to get to know each person I help. I truly care about how your case will affect you and your family.

I was born in Cheyenne, raised in Casper and have maintained my law office in Laramie for nearly a decade. I enjoy hunting and fishing and, with family throughout the state, I am connected to communities in every corner of Wyoming. I volunteer much of my time with Laramie youth sports — both coaching and as an association president — and enjoy getting to know people in my community and helping those who visit our state.
